Sundt Construction selected Kevin Graf as its new vice president and Texas regional manager for the firm’s Transportation Group.

Graf joined Sundt in 2021 as a project director and brings 20 years of heavy civil construction experience to his new role at Sundt. Over the last four years, Graf has supported the company’s growth in the Texas region.

Graf has extensive experience with heavy civil projects and collaborative delivery methods. Prior to joining Sundt, Graf was the project manager on a $40 million dam project in Lewisville, Texas and a $73 million dam project in Houston, Texas. His experience includes significant highway projects in Dallas-Fort Worth, toll roads in Austin and light rail transit in Houston.

Graf started his construction career as a field engineer on a tollway project in Austin. He has held numerous positions including field engineer, project engineer, design-build project coordinator, construction engineering manager, project manager and project director. Graf earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and earned his professional engineer license in 2012.

“During his time at Sundt, Kevin has distinguished himself as a strong leader and mentor. His technical skills, business acumen and passion for construction position him well to lead Sundt’s continued growth in Texas,” said Sundt Transportation Group President Jeff Williamson.

For over half a century, Sundt has been building critical infrastructure throughout Texas. The firm was recently recognized with an AGC Build America for its Broadway Street Reconstruction Project in San Antonio, Texas. Within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, Sundt is currently working on projects for the City of Lewisville, City of Fort Worth and the City of Denton.
