ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Atlanta police have blocked off a Downtown Atlanta street on Sunday afternoon as they respond to an incident at the Ritz-Carlton.

Patrol cars can be seen barricading Peachtree Street NE at the intersection of Andrew Young International Boulevard NE. Police say a man at the hotel is refusing to leave and may be armed.
SWAT team members arrived at the hotel around 4 p.m.
