SAN ANTONIO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Feb 16, 2026–

Taco Cabana Unveils a Wave of New Menu Additions, Led by Bold Flavors and Standout Value

“Flavor is a key driver of how guests engage with our brand, and Taco Cabana continues to lead by delivering menu moments that feel accessible, indulgent and worth celebrating,” said Ulyses Camacho, President and COO of Taco Cabana. “We’re creating a powerful point of entry for guests, while the expanded lineup of tacos, shrimp and our fan-created margarita underscores our broader strategy to drive choice, value and relevance across multiple dining occasions.”

Kicking off the rollout is the debut of the Chamoy Cherry Bomb Margarita ($3.99). The vibrant new beverage reimagines Taco Cabana’s classic lime margarita with black cherry purée and tangy chamoy, delivering a balance of sweet, tart and subtle spice. Striking in appearance and taste, the margarita adds a festive, flavor-forward twist on a guest favorite while reinforcing Taco Cabana’s reputation for creative beverage innovation. Notably, the Chamoy Cherry Bomb Margarita was created by a Texas-based Taco Cabana fan as part of last year’s National Tequila Day Margarita Contest, which invited guests to submit original recipes for a chance to be featured on the menu. Additional fan-inspired margarita creations are slated to roll out later this year, further deepening guest engagement and fueling ongoing innovation.

Available beginning February 18, Taco Cabana is expanding its menu with craveable new tacos and wraps that showcase bold flavor across proteins. The new Fajita Melt Tacos, available with grilled chicken ($5.99 for duo) or grilled steak ($7.99 for duo), layer freshly grilled onions and peppers topped with a rich, spicy queso blanco, delivering a melty, savory take on a classic fajita favorite. The menu expansion also introduces the Popcorn Shrimp Taco Duo ($5.79) and the Popcorn Shrimp Wrap ($4.99), featuring crispy shrimp with fresh lettuce, diced tomato and creamy chipotle ranch to deliver a lighter yet indulgent option that fits seamlessly into seasonal dining moments and everyday cravings.

Together, these menu additions underscore Taco Cabana’s continued focus on flavor innovation, indulgent experiences and compelling value. Taco Cabana continues to strengthen its position as a standout brand in the quick service category.

All Taco Cabana menu items are available for dine-in, drive-thru, mobile ordering and delivery at all restaurants throughout Texas. For more information or to find a location near you, visit www.tacocabana.com.
