SAN ANTONIO – A teenager was shot just sitting in his car in the parking lot where he worked early Monday morning.
The shooting happened just after midnight outside the Texas Road House off West Loop 1604 near Culebra Road on Northwest Side.
Police said the 17-year-old boy had just gotten off work and was sitting in his car behind the restaurant. That’s when someone came up and shot at his car six times.
He was hit once in the leg and once in the right hand. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition and is expected to recover.
Right now, police don’t have a description of the suspects or vehicle, but they hope find out more when they watch surveillance video from the restaurant.
They are also looking into all possibilities, including if this was a random attack or a targeted shooting.
