The Houston Texans have signed former Denver Broncos running back Deuce Vaughn, the team announced Monday.
Vaughn (5-5, 185 pounds) joined Denver’s practice squad last September. After spending the whole 2025 season on the practice squad, Vaughn re-signed with the Broncos on a reserve/future deal in January. Denver later cut him in May, and Vaughn then joined the UFL’s Orlando Storm. He’s now back in the NFL with the Texans.
To make room for Vaughn, Houston waived former Broncos wide receiver Juwann Winfree. The Texans also worked out ex-Denver receiver Josh Reyolds and running back Blake Watson, according to the NFL’s transaction wire.
Four other ex-Broncos practice squad players remain free agents after their contracts expired in February.
