The first trailer for The Forsytes, the upcoming Masterpiece adaptation of John Galsworthy’s Forsyte Saga, is here. Coming to WTTW and PBS in 2026, The Forsytes follows a family that is “preeminent among London’s stockbroking elite” at a time of succession to the next generation, who also hope to make an “advantageous match” and cement their influence and power. Some of the main characters have already been introduced via first look photos, but this is the first look at them in action.
“A Forsyte is someone who knows the value of family and loyalty,” it is announced in the trailer. Of course, there’s plenty of internecine drama and squabbling ahead.
