A U.S. federal judge blocked the Trump administration’s attempt to deny Medicaid funds to Planned Parenthood, a non-profit organization that provides reproductive healthcare services. The ruling requires the government to continue federal reimbursements, which help low-income Americans access medical care. 

This comes as President Donald Trump faces mounting domestic pressure in a number of areas ranging from low approval ratings and immigration controversies to economic concerns.
