BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – The Hispanic forum is hosting their 26th annual scholarship gala, but if you’re looking to buy a table they are officially sold out.

Silent auction items are still being accepted, and raffle tickets are still being sold. Proceeds from the event will go towards scholarships for students in the Bryan and College Station area. The lowest scholarship amount is $2,000 and the highest awarded student gets $10,000.

The event will feature live music from Bryan High School mariachis, food and a DJ to dance to all night long.

Public Relations Officer Jaime C. Cavazos says the amount of support they receive from the community continues to increase, which allows them to help more students.

“It really means everything to us, every year we expand our events, and we expand the the quantity of money we give out,” Cavazos said. “So it really means everything to us to get the support of our community and businesses.”

For more information about the gala and how you can support, go to their website here.
