DENVER (KDVR) — Whether you’re looking for the easiest way to get a clear view of the mountains from the Mile High City or looking for a happy hour in the sun, Denver has plenty of rooftops bars all around the city.

FOX31 compiled this list of the best rooftop bars in Denver using Google reviews. The list is based on the Google search “Denver rooftop bar.” After that, the bars are rated based on how many stars and reviews they have. This list includes bars with 4.5 stars or higher and at least 1,000 reviews.

Google reviews of best rooftop bars in Denver

Note: While the Google search included “rooftop bars,” many on the list are considered restaurants with a rooftop and a bar.

54thirty Rooftop

54thirty Rooftop overlooks the Rocky Mountains and serves up shared plates and a full list of wine, cocktails and mocktails. The spot was rated with 4.5 stars and 1,500 reviews with many positive references to a bartender named “James.”

Death & Co Denver

“This place is a hidden gem with an impressive selection of creative, crafty cocktails and high-quality food. Each drink is a work of art, skillfully crafted with unique ingredients that tantalize the taste buds,” said one Google review.

El Five

El Five, with 4.5 stars and 2,800 reviews, has a tapas-styled menu with floor-to-ceiling windows and a patio overlooking the city. If you’re in the Highland neighborhood, try out the restaurant sangria and the paella if you’re hungry and have some time to kill.

Linger

Another loved rooftop in the Highland Neighborhood is Linger, which resides in a former mortuary. The restaurant’s website describes the rooftop as “outfitted with 1975 GMC RV as bar and repurposed food truck as kitchen.” Linger had 4.5 stars and 4,800 reviews.

Avanti Food & Beverage

While Avanti has several locations, many raved about the spot on North Pecos Street, which had 4.5 stars and 4,700 reviews.

“This place is amazing!!! If you go to the top floor, you get an awesome view of the mountains while you eat and drink. You can also go outside; great for photo ops or just mountain gazing,” one person commented on its Google reviews.

Many other areas were listed with stars above 4.5 and over a thousand reviews, however, the bars didn’t have rooftops as much as just outdoor seating.

The warm weather is finally here, if you’re looking for happy hour or a date night, try out one of these places.
