OF THE CITY’S TALLEST HOTELS. NICE. STANDING TALL IN BOSTON’S BACK BAY IS THE CITY’S NEWEST HOTEL. THE TEAM AT RAFFLES BOSTON SAYS EVERY DETAIL HAS BEEN METICULOUSLY THOUGHT OUT FROM HOW GUESTS ENTER THE BUILDING TO DESIGN DETAILS, CREATING AN ELEGANT YET COZY ATMOSPHERE. PEOPLE ARE CATERING TO YOUR NEEDS. THEIR WANT TO SPOIL YOU, BUT IF THE ROOM RATES LEAVE YOU GAWKING, RAFFLES DOES HAVE OTHER THINGS TO OFFER. ALL THE RESTAURANT SPACES ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. THE LONG BAR AND MA OPEN RIGHT NOW. THE VIEWS ARE SPECTACULAR. LONG BAR AND TERRACE ARE POPULAR FOR A BITE TO EAT AND A COCKTAIL, WHILE AT A MA MICHELIN STAR CHEF AND NEW ENGLAND NATIVE JORGE MENDEZ SERVES UP A TWIST ON PORTUGUESE CUISINE. TRAVELED AND COOKED EXTENSIVELY IN PARIS AND SPAIN, AND THEN CREATED MY OWN CULINARY STYLE, WHICH IS ROOTED IN PORTUGUESE COOKING. AMAR’S MENU OFFERS CROQUETTES WITH SALT COD, MAINE LOBSTER WITH FENNEL, AND AZOREAN PINEAPPLE, AND THE POPULAR PORTUGUESE DESSERT SERA DERA, WHICH IS LIGHT AND FRUITY AND FLAVOR. WHETHER YOU GO TO LONG BAR FOR COCKTAILS, WHETHER YOU GO TO AMAR FOR A MULTI-COURSE MEAL, I THINK IT’S NEVER A DULL MOMENT HERE. COCKTAILS IN CRUDITÉS IN THE SKY MAY BE EASY TO FIND IN THE 617 AREA CODE, WHERE ROOFTOP BARS ABOUND. NOW, NORTH SHORE RESIDENTS HAVE THEIR OWN SLICE OF HEAVEN. HERE AT THE ROOF. IT’S ON THE TOP OF THE HOTEL SALEM BEING ON OUR ROOFTOP AND HAVING THESE SCENIC VIEWS WHILE HAVING A COCKTAIL AND SOCIALIZING. THERE’S JUST NOTHING BETTER. PART OF THE APPEAL IS THE LOCATION IN THE HEART OF SALEM, A CITY FAMOUS FOR WITCHES. THE SPIRITS APPEARING DAILY ON THE ROOF SEASONAL DRINK MENU ARE MORE APPROACHABLE AND SERVED UP BY MIXOLOGIST BEN QUIRK. ONE OF OUR BEST SELLERS IS THE FROSÉ. IT’S ACTUALLY FROZEN, IT’S ROSÉ, IT’S GOT SAINT ELDER. A FEW OTHER THINGS IN THERE TO PACK A GOOD PUNCH AND MAKE YOU FORGET HOW HOT IT IS. THE GIUSEPPE IS OUR GIN DRINK, AND IT’S LEMON INFUSED GIN. THE FAN FAVORITE HAS TO BE THE BLACKBERRY WHISKEY LEMONADE. THE MOTTO UP HERE IS STRONG DRINK. SIMPLE FOOD WITH A MENU EXECUTED NIGHTLY BY ALEX. GOOD. EVERYTHING WE MAKE IS FROM SCRATCH. MEXICAN STREET STYLE. THAT FLAVOR PROFILE FOR ME IS IS AMAZING. THOSE FLAVORS ARE FRONT AND CENTER IN THE ROASTED SHRIMP RICE BOWL WITH LIME, RICE, AVOCADOS, AND GRILLED PINEAPPLE. THAT’S A FAN FAVORITE BIG TIME. ALSO, OUR GROUND BEEF TACO, ROMAINE LETTUCE, GROUND BEEF, SLICED RADISHES, QUESO FRESCO WITH A CILANTRO LIME SAUCE. IF THE OCEAN VIEWS HAVE YOU LONGING FOR THE SEA, THERE’S ALSO THIS AMAZING TOWER FEATURING MAINE PEMAQUID OYSTERS UNDER HALF A DOZEN JUMBO SHRIMP. THE SUNSET, THE OCEAN AND EVEN FROM MY CHILDREN THAT COME UP HERE TO WATCH THE FIREWORKS. IT’S AMAZING. THE ROOF IN SALEM IS SEASONAL, BUT IT DOES STAY OPEN THROUGH HALLOWEEN OF COURSE. AND BACK TO RAFFLES. JOINING HIM FOR THIS SUMMER IS LA PADRONA, A SPIN ON ITALIAN CUISINE BY RENOWNED CHEF JODY ADAMS, FAMOUS FOR PORTO TRADE AND PREVIOUSLY, OF COURSE, RIALTO, LA PADRONA FEATURES CUISINE FROM SEVERAL REGIONS OF ITALY AND THAT IS CHRONICLE FOR TONIGHT. THANKS SO MUCH FOR JOINING US. HI EVERYONE. I’M ANTHONY EVERETT HAVE A GREAT EVENING.
