Baseball America’s latest ranking of the top college prospects for the 2027 MLB Draft expands the list from 50 to 100 players and features new scouting reports for a number of key prospects heading into the 2027 draft cycle.

The top spot is again claimed by infielder Brendan Lawson, the star sophomore from Florida with an enticing hit-power combination and burgeoning track record of performance at the collegiate level. Lawson this past spring was perhaps the most impressive 2027-eligible hitter in the country and earned first-team freshman All-America honors before going on to slash .333/.398/.519 in the Cape Cod League.
