Welcome to the first in-season update for the 2025 draft class.

Our March update expands the draft rankings from 200 players to 300 while also attempting to capture much of the movement and player changes that have happened in the first few months of the amateur season.

At the top, there’s a new No. 1 player in the class—Jamie Arnold.

The Florida State lefthander moves up from No. 3 to the top spot on the back of a strong early-season performance and well-rounded, quick-moving starter profile. The perception of the industry seems to be that the 2025 class lacks a slam dunk 1-1 profile, leaving Arnold as the best of a reasonably-crowded group of players at the top.

Former No. 1 ranked outfielder Jace LaViolette slides from the top spot in the class to No. 9, while a trio of college shortstops have jumped up from middle-of-the-first-round range to become top 10 prospects: Oregon State’s Aiva Arquette, Wake Forest’s Marek Houston and Tennessee’s Dean Curley.

The rest of the top 10 is heavy on pitchers and high school players and includes Oklahoma shortstop Ethan Holliday, UC Santa Barbara righthander Tyler Bremner, California prep teammates Seth Hernandez and Billy Carlson and Oregon lefthander Kruz Schoolcraft.

Tennessee leads all schools with 11 players ranked in the top 300, followed by Florida State with eight and Virginia and Arkansas both with seven. Corona High in California leads high schools with four players ranked, including three inside the top 30.

Be sure to check out the complete top 300 above with accompanying scouting reports, including updated in-season reports for new additions.
