“Hi there, I’m Lilypad.” “Toy Story” fans have a special delivery in the form of the first teaser trailer for the latest installment in the hit Disney and Pixar franchise.

Woody and Buzz Lightyear are back in action for “Toy Story 5” along with a new character. In the trailer, Bonnie’s mom is heard telling her a package has arrived for her. The group of toys are shaking and covering their eyes, clearly nervous to see what’s inside the box. Bonnie excitedly opens the box and discovers a smart tablet in the shape of a frog.

Greta Lee (“TRON: Ares”) joins the cast as the new high-tech toy Lilypad. Tom Hanks returns as cowboy Woody, Tim Allen beams in as Buzz Lightyear, Joan Cusack is back as cowgirl Jessie, and Tony Hale returns as Forky. Conan O’Brien also joins the gang as the toilet training tech toy Smarty Pants.

In a press release, “Toy Story 5” director Andrew Stanton and co-director Kenna Harris shared, “It’s been a hilarious and poignant journey exploring how our favorite team of legacy toys might respond to today’s world of technology, and we’re thrilled to share this first glimpse with audiences. Having the remarkably talented Greta Lee bring Lilypad to life – balancing a playfully antagonistic tone with humor and heart – has been incredible.”

Watch the battle between traditional toys and tech when “Toy Story 5” premieres only in theaters June 2026. Catch up before the release by watching the first four “Toy Story” movies streaming now on Disney+.
