Transact Commercial Interiors, known for designing functional and adaptable workspaces, has expanded its operations with the opening of a new office in Salt Lake City.

The Utah office, located at 215 S. State St., Suite 110, will be led by Clare Owens, managing director, and staffed by a team of four. Supporting the new location with regular visits are Craig Scarpone, president and CEO; Lisa Tinnion, vice president; and Ron DeAgostine, architecture interior consultant, according to a press release.

“We are incredibly excited to announce the opening of our second location in Utah, expanding our footprint beyond our headquarters in Phoenix,” said Mr. Scarpone. “This marks a meaningful milestone in our journey as we continue to grow and serve our customers with the same passion and quality that have defined us from the beginning,” Mr. Scarpone said.

“Our success in Phoenix has been driven by strong relationships—with our customers, partners and community—and we’re bringing that same relationship-first approach to the Utah market,” Mr. Scarpone added. “We’ve already begun building connections in Utah, and we’re grateful for the warm welcome and shared values that make this expansion feel like a natural fit.”

Teknion’s Architectural Interiors Expansion Casework+ offers modular and adaptable solutions for institutional settings. The company manufactures 95 percent of its own products.

With the expansion, Transact becomes Teknion’s exclusive dealer in Utah, continuing its role in delivering design-focused furnishings and services to clients in the region.

“Teknion is thrilled to celebrate the grand opening of Transact Commercial Interiors’ new showroom in Salt Lake City,” said Mr. Doug Meyer, Teknion vice president of U.S. sales. “Their expansion into Utah reflects Transact’s commitment to providing thoughtful design and furnishings to our joint clients. We are proud to partner with a team that consistently demonstrates innovation and dedication,” Mr. Meyer said.

Firms and individuals involved in the buildout of the Utah office include Mr. Roman Bernardo of CBRE (brokerage), the Teknion team, Rand Construction (general contractor), and Method Studio (architect).

“We look forward to becoming an active part of the Utah business community, creating new jobs and delivering service that both our Arizona and Utah customers can count on,” said Mr. Scarpone. “This is more than just a new location—it’s an extension of who we are and what we believe in.”
