HOUSTON, Texas — Vantage Bank has appointed Tray Mounce as executive vice president and Houston regional president, expanding his leadership responsibilities in one of the bank’s key Texas markets.

Mounce brings 36 years of experience in commercial, industrial, and private banking. Throughout his career, he has worked with entrepreneurs, family-owned businesses and middle-market companies, helping clients address financial challenges, pursue opportunities and position their businesses for sustainable growth.

His approach has centered on understanding clients’ individual needs and connecting them with appropriate banking resources and financial solutions.

Since joining Vantage Bank, Mounce has helped strengthen the bank’s presence in the Houston market through relationship banking, responsive service, and connections with customers and communities.

In his expanded role, Mounce will continue working with customers while providing regional leadership for the bank’s Houston operations.

His experience across commercial, industrial and private banking gives him a broad perspective on the financial needs of businesses at different stages of development, from entrepreneurs building their companies to established middle-market businesses pursuing additional growth.

Mounce’s involvement also extends beyond banking. He has participated in organizations focused on youth development, community engagement, and other causes throughout the Houston area.

The community involvement complements a banking career built around long-term relationships and working directly with business owners and financial decision-makers.

As executive vice president and Houston regional president, Mounce will continue supporting Vantage Bank customers and communities while leading the bank’s efforts in the Houston market.

His appointment marks the latest chapter in a banking career spanning more than three decades and places him in an expanded leadership role as Vantage Bank continues serving businesses and customers across the region.
