DENVER- Flag carrier of Türkiye, Turkish Airlines (TK) plans to increase its non-stop flights from Istanbul Airport (IST) to Denver International Airport (DEN).
The major US airport, Denver has expanded from serving 31 million passengers in 1995 to over 69 million. It now offers nonstop flights to more than 210 destinations across 14 countries. Further, Denver is one of the fastest-growing airports in the world.
Turkish Airlines Denver Flights
Turkish Airlines is set to expand its U.S. operations with increased flights and potential new routes.
Beginning June 9, 2025, Turkish Airlines will boost its Denver (DEN) route frequency from four to seven weekly flights (daily), providing daily service, Ishrion Aviation reported.
The airline serves the IST-DEN route with Airbus A350 aircraft. In the coming months, Turkish Airlines is expected to announce its 2025 destination plans, which will confirm any new U.S. cities.
Denver was the 347th destination for Turkish Airlines, which flies to around 350 destinations across 130 countries.
Some aviation analysts suggest Orlando, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, and Charlotte can be ideal and would strengthen the airline’s U.S. network.
A few months ago, Turkish Airlines announced that they would launch new flights to Santiago (SCL), Chile, marking its 10th country served in the Americas.
The new route will commence on December 18, 2024, and will operate from Istanbul (IST) to Santiago four times weekly via Sao Paulo (GRU) stopover in both directions.
Furthermore, Turkish Airlines preponed the Sydney (SYD) launch, scheduling the first Istanbul (IST)-Kuala Lumpur (KUL)-Sydney flight from November 28, 2024, a week earlier than initially planned.
Currently, TK operates flights to these US cities: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Newark, New York JFK, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington Dulles.
The carrier plans to expand to a total of 20 U.S. cities. As per the latest schedule, no U.S. airline flies to Istanbul (IST).
