DENVER- Flag carrier of Türkiye, Turkish Airlines (TK) plans to increase its non-stop flights from Istanbul Airport (IST) to Denver International Airport (DEN).

Turkish Airlines Denver Flights

Turkish Airlines is set to expand its U.S. operations with increased flights and potential new routes.

Beginning June 9, 2025, Turkish Airlines will boost its Denver (DEN) route frequency from four to seven weekly flights (daily), providing daily service, Ishrion Aviation reported.

The airline serves the IST-DEN route with Airbus A350 aircraft. In the coming months, Turkish Airlines is expected to announce its 2025 destination plans, which will confirm any new U.S. cities.

Denver was the 347th destination for Turkish Airlines, which flies to around 350 destinations across 130 countries.

Some aviation analysts suggest Orlando, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, and Charlotte can be ideal and would strengthen the airline’s U.S. network.

A few months ago, Turkish Airlines announced that they would launch new flights to Santiago (SCL), Chile, marking its 10th country served in the Americas.

The new route will commence on December 18, 2024, and will operate from Istanbul (IST) to Santiago four times weekly via Sao Paulo (GRU) stopover in both directions.

Furthermore, Turkish Airlines preponed the Sydney (SYD) launch, scheduling the first Istanbul (IST)-Kuala Lumpur (KUL)-Sydney flight from November 28, 2024, a week earlier than initially planned.

Currently, TK operates flights to these US cities: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Newark, New York JFK, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington Dulles.

The carrier plans to expand to a total of 20 U.S. cities. As per the latest schedule, no U.S. airline flies to Istanbul (IST).

Three Awards at APEX 2024

Turkish Airlines has received the ‘World Class’ award from the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) for the fourth consecutive year, remaining one of only 10 airlines worldwide to achieve this distinction.

APEX presented the awards at the APEX/IFSA Global Expo in California, where Turkish Airlines also earned the ‘Best-In-Class’ award for Sustainability, highlighting its commitment to excellence in passenger experience and operational standards.

The ‘World Class’ award, based on comprehensive inspections by industry experts, evaluates airlines on Safety & Well-Being, service guest Experience, and Sustainability, areas in which Turkish Airlines demonstrated exceptional performance. The airline’s sustainable practices include circular operations, digitalization, and waste management.

Additionally, Turkish Airlines was honored with the ‘FTE Pioneer Award’ from Future Travel Experience (FTE) at a ceremony in Los Angeles. This award recognized six global airlines advancing customer experience and innovation in the air transport industry.

Turkish Airlines Chairman Prof. Ahmet Bolat expressed gratitude for the awards, emphasizing the airline’s dedication to passenger experience, sustainability, and innovation: “This triple recognition underscores our commitment to delivering a world-class experience for our guests.”

APEX CEO Dr. Joe Leader commended Turkish Airlines, highlighting its unmatched global network and renowned Turkish hospitality. He noted that the airline’s new Crystal Business Class suite, launching in 2024 with enhanced privacy, larger seating, and refined design, exemplifies the APEX World Class standard of premium air travel.
