INDIANAPOLIS – The NBA announced Wednesday that Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton has been named to the All-NBA Third Team.

Haliburton guided the Pacers to a 47-35 record during the regular season and averaged 20.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and led the NBA with a career-best 10.9 assists per game. He set a Pacers franchise record with 752 assists and became one of three players in NBA history to make at least 195 3-pointers and record 750 or more assists in one season.

He became the first player in NBA history to record multiple career games with 25+ points, 15+ assists and zero turnovers, and did so during consecutive games at Philadelphia Nov. 12 and 14. He is also the only player in NBA history to record three career games with 20+ points, 17+ assists and zero turnovers, all of which occurred this season.

Haliburton was named a starter for the first time, and an All-Star for the second consecutive season for All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis. Haliburton joined Paul George, Jermaine O’Neal, and Reggie Miller as Pacers players elected as All-Star Game starters.

Haliburton has averaged 19.3 points, 4.9 rebounds and 8.2 assists per game during the playoffs as the Pacers have reached the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since the 2013-14 season. Game 2 of the Pacers’ Eastern Conference Finals series against the Boston Celtics is set for Thursday night at 8 p.m. (ET).
