United will launch year-round Las Vegas service and seasonal Miami flights from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport later this year.
CLEVELAND — Cleveland Hopkins International Airport announced Thursday that United Airlines is expanding nonstop service from CLE with new flights to Las Vegas and Miami beginning later this year.
According to airport officials, nonstop service between Cleveland Hopkins and Harry Reid International Airport will begin Sept. 24 and operate year-round. Flights are scheduled daily except Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
United also plans to launch seasonal nonstop service between Cleveland and Miami International Airport beginning Dec. 3. The seasonal route will run through April 5, 2027.
Airport officials said the added flights are intended to meet continued demand for leisure travel from Northeast Ohio residents, adding that Las Vegas remains a popular destination for vacationers, convention visitors and business travelers, while Miami serves as both a tourism destination and a major departure point for cruise travel.
“Vegas is always a safe bet, and adding more opportunities to reach Miami during the winter travel season gives our passengers even more reasons to plan their next getaway,” said Scott C. Carr, assistant director of commercial business and revenue at Cleveland Hopkins. “Strong demand for leisure travel continues to create opportunities to grow service and connect Northeast Ohio travelers to destinations they want most.”
United officials said the airline continues to invest in expanding its Cleveland route network.
“Cleveland is an important market for United, and these flights continue the investment in our route network there by providing the local community with more nonstop and convenient flight options,” said Mark Weithofer, managing director of domestic network planning for United.
The airline said the additional routes will give travelers more direct access to vacation destinations while strengthening United’s presence in the Cleveland market.
