CONCORD, CA — United Latino Voices (ULV) is proud to announce the appointment of Tony Bravo as the organization’s new Executive Director, effective March 2, 2026. Bravo succeeds the outgoing Interim Executive Director, Debra Ballinger, who will transition to a Senior Advisor role to ensure a seamless leadership handoff and support Bravo during his onboarding process.

Tony Bravo joins United Latino Voices following his tenure as the Director of Community Engagement at Monument Impact. A seasoned advocate for racial, migrant, and economic justice, Bravo brings a wealth of experience in leading grassroots campaigns and a profound dedication to fostering leadership within system-impacted communities.

“Tony’s deep roots in community organizing and his proven track record of advancing immigrant rights make him the ideal leader for ULV’s next chapter,” said Debra Ballinger. “His vision will be instrumental as we scale our advocacy efforts during this critical time for the immigrant community in Contra Costa County.”

Originally from Guerrero, Mexico, and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Bravo’s career has been defined by his commitment to the decriminalization of Black and Brown communities. He notably served as the inaugural coordinator of the Contra Costa Immigrant Rights Alliance, where he spearheaded coalition-based advocacy for immigrant protections.

Under Bravo’s leadership, United Latino Voices plans to build upon its recent successes in Civic Engagement and Latinx Power-Building, Health Equity, and Latinx Student Success. As ULV enters this new era, the organization remains steadfast in its mission to build power and advance the rights of the Latinx community throughout the region.

About United Latino Voices

United Latino Voices is a community-based organization in Contra Costa County dedicated to Civic Engagement, Leadership Development, and Health and Education Equity. ULV works to empower the Latinx community through grassroots organizing and advocacy for systemic change.
