With another action-packed month of MMA in the books, MMA Junkie looks at the best knockouts from February 2026: Here are the five nominees, listed in chronological order, and winner of MMA Junkie’s Knockout of the Month award for February.

At the bottom of the post, let us know if we got it right by voting for your choice.

Nominee: Jacobe Smith def. Josiah Harrell at UFC Fight Night 267

Jacobe Smith showed once again why he’s a welterweight with significant promise.

Smith (12-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) added to his undefeated record and put the first blemish on the resume of Josiah Harrell (11-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) with a brutal first-round knockout courtesy of some vicious ground-and-pound.

Nominee: Melquizael Costa def. Dan Ige at UFC Fight Night 267

Melquizael Costa’s skyrocket to the top continued when he became the first man to stop Dan Ige.

Costa (26-7 MMA, 7-2 UFC) beautifully timed a spinning kick to the face of Ige (19-11 MMA, 11-10 UFC) just after the 10-second clacker hit in the first round. Ige dipped right into it and shot backward on the canvas as he covered up. Costa pounced and pounded away until the referee stopped it.

Former middleweight champion Sean Strickland took it to Anthony Hernandez to prove he is still a title threat.

After a string of decisions, Strickland (30-7 MMA, 17-7 UFC) added another TKO to his record when he finished Anthony Hernandez (15-3 MMA, 9-3 UFC) with a big knee to the body and swarm of punches in the third round.

Nominee: King Green def. Daniel Zellhuber at UFC Fight Night 268

King Green was in vintage form against the heavily favored Daniel Zellhuber, and it paid off in the form of a significant upset.

The 39-year-old Green (34-17-1 MMA, 15-12-1 UFC) was slipping strikes and in his zone in his lightweight bout with Zellhuber (15-4 MMA, 3-4 UFC), and he carried that until landing some huge shots that set up the emphatic TKO finish.

The winner: Uros Medic def. Geoff Neal at UFC Fight Night 267

Uros Medic needed just 79 seconds to show he belongs in the octagon with top welterweights when he knocked Geoff Neal out cold.

Medic (13-3 MMA, 7-3 UFC) did what many other elites at 170 pounds could not do and put Neal (16-8 MMA, 8-6 UFC) to sleep with punches. A huge left hand in an exchange connected to the temple and led to the violent finish at the 1:19 mark of Round 1.

After the win, an elated Medic, who is 5-2 since joining the weight class in July 2023, said he’s hunting for the top dogs and called out former champion Leon Edwards.

“Houston, we have a problem, and I am the problem,” Medic said in his post-fight interview with Michael Bisping. “This division is in trouble. I am going to knock everybody out and bulldoze through this division. Mark my words.”
