United Talent Agency is moving its New York City office to one of the city’s most iconic landmarks, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

UTA will move to The Empire State Building in July of 2027, occupying over 100,000 square feet across four floors of the building, which sits at 34th St. and 5th Ave.

UTA’s New York office is currently located farther north in midtown across the street from Carnegie Hall, but as the agency has pushed into areas like brand advisory, sports and executive search alongside its traditional film, TV, and publishing and work, its New York presence has only gotten bigger. UTA also has a large creators business, having launched that division two decades ago, which also has a large New York presence.

“Our move to one of New York City’s most iconic landmarks is a reflection of UTA’s continued growth and our long-term commitment to New York as a global epicenter of culture, creativity, and business,” UTA COO Bob Roback says. “As we’ve expanded our integrated talent representation and brand advisory businesses, New York has become an increasingly important center for our clients and our company. This new office reflects the scale of our ambitions and positions us to continue building the future of talent, media, sports, and brand representation.”

The Empire State Building was built in 1930, and is one of New York’s biggest tourist attractions and probably the most recognizable building of the city’s skyline. Empire State Realty Trust, which operates the building, has been seeking to modernize and improve its office space to keep up in the competitive environment for corporate business.

ESRT says the building now has more than 65,000 square feet of amenities for tenants, including eight dining options, a fitness center, conference center, basketball/pickleball court and two golf simulators.

“We are pleased to welcome United Talent Agency to the ‘World’s Most Famous Building’ and to support the firm’s continued growth,” added Ryan Kass, executive VP and co-head of real estate and chief revenue officer at ESRT. “The Empire State Building fosters collaboration, attracts top talent, enhances the employee experience, and is a premier destination for the world’s most innovative and influential businesses.”
