MLB Draft prospect Alex Boone made his final high school appearance over the weekend, pitching in the annual Twin State All-Star Game for New Hampshire at Maxfield Sports Complex in White River Junction, Vermont.Hailing from Norwich, Vermont, the 6-foot-3 righty played his high school ball across the Connecticut River for Hanover High School. He features a fastball touching the mid-90s and is committed to play for Northeastern University in the fall.The right-handed hurler tossed 2.1 scoreless innings in relief, striking out a pair, allowing one hit, and one hit batter at the all-star classic.Boone is a projected late-round draft choice and could forgo his college eligibility if he’s drafted and chooses to sign with the club he lands with.Vermont swept Boone and New Hampshire in a 7-inning doubleheader, 13-8, and 7-1.
