Kari-Lee Niven has become the vice principal at Houston Secondary School while Craig Bolton assumes the same position at Smithers Secondary School.
Niven is a long time Houston resident and has 24 years of experience as a teacher.
The vice principalship position at Houston Secondary School is a revival of a position that existed previously when there was a larger school population.
Bolton came to the Bulkley Valley in 2021 and has a Master of Science in Education. He is taking over from Dustin Hersee who is leaving the end of July.
