UFC White House is just two weeks away.
Next month, the biggest event of the year takes place when the UFC hosts an event on the South Lawn of the White House, headlined by a lightweight title unification bout between Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje. But while that’s the main event, the co-main event interim heavyweight title fight between Alex Pereira and Ciryl Gane is perhaps even more anticipated, as “Poatan” has a chance to make history and become the first-ever three-division UFC champion. And that history-making potential is front and center in the latest promo from the UFC.
On Saturday, the world’s leading MMA promotion dropped a new trailer video for UFC White House, foregoing the previous AI-made one for a more in-depth look at the co-main event between Pereira and Gane. The video highlights Pereira’s incredible combat sports journey, from being a two-division kickboxing champion to a two-division UFC champion, and now attempting to do something no one has ever done before.
UFC White House does down on June 14.
