The infected pool was located near the intersection of Ray Ellison Boulevard and Loop 410.
However, with the recent increase in rain, city health officials warn of a potential uptick in mosquito eggs. Residents are urged to take preventative measures to minimize mosquito breeding grounds. This includes eliminating any areas of standing water around their properties, such as clogged gutters, birdbaths, or unused pools.
