What’s coming to Coors Field for Rockies’ 2026 MLB season

The Rockies are back.

The team hosted a media walk-through on Thursday at Coors Field about 24 hours before Opening Day against the Phillies. Reporters sampled a variety of new food options, which will be available to fans in different locations throughout the ballpark. The Rockies also detailed upcoming events. Below are the highlights:

Promotional items, giveaways and theme nights

Friday/Saturday/Sunday vs. Phillies: Magnet giveaway, Rockies jersey sweatshirt giveaway (first 15,000 fans) and pregame player autographs.

April 6/7: BOGO hot dog night and college fair night.

April 17 vs. Dodgers: The Rockies will wear their City Connect jerseys, inspired by Colorado sunrises and sunsets, for each Friday home game of the season.

April 18 vs. Dodgers: Hello Kitty ticket package with backpack (sold out).

April 19 vs. Dodgers: Dinger Day ticket package with mascot hat and access to pregame party in the outfield picnic area.

May 2 vs. Braves: Fourth Wing ticket package with jersey (sold out).

May 16 vs. Diamondbacks: Military Appreciation Day and Hunter Goodman T-shirt giveaway (first 15,000 fans).

May 18/19 vs. Rangers: Bark at the Park ticket package with area for dogs.

May 31 vs. Giants: Kids Day with postgame running of the bases.

More key dates

July 3 and 4 vs. Giants: Postgame fireworks to celebrate America’s 250th birthday.

Aug. 1 vs. Royals: Postgame drone show to celebrate Colorado’s 150th birthday.

Aug. 23 vs. Guardians: Larry Walker statue unveiling and celebration.

Sept. 19 vs. Mariners: Todd Helton statue unveiling and celebration.

New food options

9/9/9 Challenge (Section 139): Nine slider hot dogs and nine beers (4 ounces) to be consumed over nine innings.

Glizzilla (Section 157): A 1-pound hot dog that is 23 inches long and served on a 19-inch sub roll.

Mamalona (Sandlot Smokehouse): Giant shareable taco with a red chile tortilla, shredded romaine lettuce, shredded green cabbage, house-smoked barbecue brisket, hot Cheeto-dusted pork belly, Chihuahua cheese, Carolina gold barbecue sauce, avocado crema and fresh avocado.
