The Indiana Fever (14-12) are back in action today with a date against the Phoenix Mercury (16-9). It’s the first of three meetings this season between the two.
The Fever will once again be without star guard Caitlin Clark, who is sidelined for the fifth straight contest with a right groin injury. It’s now the 14th regular season game that Clark has missed in 2025, and the 15th game this year when including the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup final.
Indiana enters off back-to-back wins against the Las Vegas Aces and Chicago Sky.
Fever guard Kelsey Mitchell scored 21 points in the 80-70 win over the Aces and then matched a Caitlin Clark feat in the win over the Sky. Mitchell led the Fever with 35 points in the 93-78 Sunday win over the Sky. In the process, Mitchell joined Clark as only the second player in Indiana Fever franchise history to score 35-plus points, while also recording five-plus assists and five-plus 3-pointers made in a single game.
