MADISON, Wis. — Join WisPolitics and the Wisconsin Technology Council on Tuesday, Sept. 16 for lunch and a panel discussion on if, how and where President Trump’s tariffs are affecting the Wisconsin economy.

The panelists include Menzie Chinn, an economics professor in UW-Madison’s La Follette School of Public Affairs who studies macroeconomic issues and policies; veteran farm broadcaster Pam Jahnke, director at the Midwest Farm Report Network; Buckley Brinkman, executive director and CEO of the Wisconsin Center for Manufacturing & Productivity; and Roberta Oldenburg, director of business development for science and technology construction at J.H. Findorff & Son Inc.

The buffet luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m., with the moderated program running from noon to 1 p.m. WisPolitics subscribers as well as Madison Club members and Tech Council members pay $25 per person. The price for the public is $30 per person. The price includes a buffet lunch. Click here to register.

Thanks to WisPolitics-State Affairs Madison luncheon series sponsors: HB Strategies, American Family Insurance, Xcel Energy, Walmart, AARP Wisconsin and WEC Energy Group. Their support makes this programming possible. The Tech Council, which produces “WisBusiness.com: The Show,” is a co-sponsor.

For convenient parking, attendees are encouraged to check Monona Terrace or the parking ramp across the street for lower rates. To avoid being ticketed, please note that Madison Club-labeled spots in the Hilton parking garage are reserved exclusively for Club members with a paid parking permit.
