Los Angeles police are searching for two hit-and-run drivers who critically injured the same woman in downtown.
DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Los Angeles police are searching for two hit-and-run drivers who critically injured the same woman in downtown.
The incident happened Oct. 5 around 6 a.m. as the woman was crossing the street at Central Avenue and 14th Place, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
That’s when a dark-colored Ford Explorer struck her, sending her flying into the street.
While she was on the ground, police say another car – possibly a Honda CRV – hit her again.
Both drivers failed to stop and render aid as required by law.
The woman was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
