SAN ANTONIO – A woman discovered by a pool cleaner after drowning in a home pool on the North Side has been identified.

The medical examiner has identified the woman as 52-year-old Cristina Rodriguez.
The incident happened near Lofty Heights and Bitters Road.
According to a Bexar County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson, the woman said to be in her 50s, was the family’s housekeeper and was found in the pool.
Alcoholic beverages were found near the pool, the consumption of alcohol may have contributed to the drowning.
