MADISON, Ill. (July 30, 2026) – World Wide Technology Raceway is teaming up with the Humane Society of Missouri and Helping Strays of Monroe County this August to help adoptable dogs find their forever homes.
Throughout the month of August, the first 200 adopters at each shelter will receive four tickets to the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series Chase race on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 6:30 p.m. CT, part of the Enjoy Illinois 300 NASCAR Cup Series Chase weekend on Sept. 13 at 2 p.m.
Now in its third year, the annual adoption promotion has helped hundreds of dogs find loving homes while introducing new fans to NASCAR weekend at World Wide Technology Raceway.
“Community partnerships like this demonstrate the impact that can happen when organizations come together for a shared purpose,” said Kathy Warnick, Humane Society of Missouri president. “We’re grateful to World Wide Technology Raceway for helping us celebrate adoption while encouraging more families to open their hearts and homes to animals in need. Together, we’re giving more pets in need the second chance they deserve.”
The partnership has continued to grow each year. During the 2025 promotion, the Humane Society of Missouri and Helping Strays of Monroe County celebrated more than 400 adoptions, demonstrating how community partnerships can create meaningful results for local shelters and the animals they serve.
“Any community partnership, like this one, is incredibly valuable – because it helps shine a spotlight on pet adoption and potentially introduce new audiences to our shelter,” said Anne Vincent, Helping Strays shelter director. “We’re grateful to World Wide Technology Raceway for once again supporting us in giving homeless animals the opportunity to find loving families.”
The promotion runs from Aug. 1 through Aug. 31, or until all 400 ticket giveaways are claimed. Participating locations include:

The on-track action Saturday, Sept. 12 is highlighted by the Nu Way 225 Powered by Bobcat and Sauced by Blues Hog NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series Chase race. The weekend culminates with the Enjoy Illinois 300 NASCAR Cup Series Chase race on Sunday, Sept. 13, while the Confluence Music Festival returns all weekend featuring headliners Old Dominion and Busta Rhymes.
