BOSTON — Four children and one adult have been hospitalized after being hit by a car in Boston on Thursday morning.
Officers responded to a radio call reporting a pedestrian struck at Harrison and East Brookline just before 10:30 a.m., according to the Boston Police Department.
Upon arrival, the officers found the group of children and the adult who had been struck as they were crossing the street.
All of the victims were treated on scene by Boston EMS and transported to a local hospital for evaluation of possible minor injuries.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is said to be cooperating with police. It wasn’t immediately clear if they would face charges.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
