The Denver Broncos have ruled out five players ahead of their Thursday Night Football showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs on Christmas Day.
The Broncos will be without linebacker Dre Greenlaw (hamstring), tight end Nate Adkins (knee), wide receiver Pat Bryant (concussion) and center Luke Wattenberg (shoulder) against the Chiefs. Linebacker Karene Reid (hamstring), who is still on injured reserve, has also been ruled out.
Everyone else on the active roster — including linebacker Justin Strnad (foot) — has been cleared to play.
Strnad is poised to start across from Alex Singleton while Greenlaw is sidelined, and Alex Forsyth is listed as the backup center behind Wattenberg on Denver’s depth chart.
At wide receiver, Troy Franklin and Marvin Mims could be in line to get more targets while Bryant recovers. With Adkins sidelined, the Broncos currently only have two healthy tight ends on the 53-man roster in Adam Trautman and Evan Engram.

Playing against a third-string quarterback leading a team already eliminated from playoff contention, the Broncos are considered big favorites this week. Thursday’s game will be available to stream on Prime (more TV options).
