New London, Conn. – February 27, 2026 – Springfield College women’s diving sent three student-athletes to compete at the 2026 NCAA Division III Northeast-North Diving Regional Championships this afternoon. The meet took place at Connecticut College’s Lott Natatorium.
Elizabeth Santos (Chicopee, Mass.), McKenzie Aparo (Bristol, Conn.) and Bridgette Hogan (Marshfield, Mass.) competed against 24 other student-athletes from atop the region looking for a spot at the 2026 NCAA Division III National Championships in March.
Santos led the trio from Springfield with a score of 381.50 for 17th place in the field, while Aparo followed closely in 18th with a 376.40. Hogan came in 20th place with a 367.45. Fiora Beratahani of MIT won the regional title with a 442.30 and was followed by Donna Zhang of Amherst with a 440.55 and Cailey Simard of Bridgewater State finished third with a 436.00.
The Northeast-North region will send seven women’s divers and four men’s divers to the NCAA Division III National Championships in March. Selections will officially be announced by the NCAA on Monday, March 2.
