Woody’s Hideaway to open new Houston-area location amid growing ‘eatertainment’ trend

Webster is getting another “eatertainment” venue.

Houston-based Woody’s Brands said it plans to open the fourth location of its Woody’s Hideaway concept in the Bayway Village shopping center at 20801 Gulf Freeway.

It will join another Woody’s concept, Little Woodrow’s, a couple of strip centers over.

Woody’s Hideaway plans to open at the end of this year in a 12,500-square-foot space that combines two suites in Bayway Village. Cindie’s is still open but will be vacating its space in the next two months, Woody’s Brands Chairman Bob Wilson told the Houston Business Journal. The other suite was formerly occupied by Israeli Self Defense.

Woody’s signed the lease with the landlord, Dallas-based De La Vega Development, in February.
