PALMDALE, Calif. (KABC) — Animal control officers were shocked to find not one, but 16 small dogs abandoned at a park in Palmdale recently.
According to the County of Los Angeles Palmdale Animal Care Center, many of them had severely matted fur and were covered in dirt.
Officers from multiple teams jumped in. They safely captured every dog and rushed them in for care and vaccinations.
Investigators are asking for the public’s help tracking down whoever left the dogs there. Anyone with information is asked to email palmdale@animalcare.lacounty.gov.
