LA Ram Alaric Jackson was arrested for felony domestic battery Monday night at his San Fernando Valley home, LAPD sources tell NBC4.
The 6-foot-7, 338-pound offensive lineman was arrested at around 11 p.m., after police were called to his home. When police arrived, they learned that Jackson and a woman had gotten into a verbal argument.
Sources tell NBC4 that Jackson thought the woman was recording him with her phone and allegedly tried to take the phone out of her hand.
Investigators said the woman had scratch marks on her arms.
Jackson was then arrested for felony domestic battery and later released on a $50,000 bail.
The 27-year-old six-year veteran played for the Iowa Hawkeyes in college. Jackson entered the league as an undrafted free agent, signing with the Rams in May 2021.
Jackson was suspended by the league for two games in 2024 for violation of the its personal conduct policy.
He signed a three-year contract extension with LA in February 2025.
