Houston burger, wing and French fry purveyor Lost In Da Sauce Kitchen maintains a consistent social media feed, showing video after video of happy customers showing off their food hauls. It’s pretty simple: A couple folks sit in their cars holding their Styrofoam trays filled with sliders, loaded fries, maybe macaroni and cheese or fried rice. They take a bite or two. They love it. “Tap in,” they say, “tap in.”
It seems to be working. Lost In Da Sauce Kitchen, which serves the northwest Houston community of Jersey Village, had Drake pull up recently. Drake, who has a home in Brenham about 75 miles northwest of Houston, was seen in a social media video wearing a Nike Canada soccer top while holding a tray with sliders, sauced-up wings and fries loaded with melted cheese and what looked to be bacon bits.
“Came all the way from Toronto, Canada, the 6, but I also live in Brenham, Texas, so you know, reppin’ both at the same time,” Drake started while preparing to get into his tray.
Drake confirmed he was “tapped in” before digging into some fries and biting into a slider. “Fire. Hawaiian buns. Great,” he said. I mean, who doesn’t like a sweet Hawaiian slider bun?
“I came to you by the way,” Drake noted. “Fire.”
“Drake the typa guy who buys food off Facebook marketplace,” wrote user @sue_vaneer. A hilarious comment she made sure to note wasn’t a snub at Lost In Da Sauce. “looks bomb tho,” she added.
User @weluvhubtv pointed out the camera angle on Drake, which made it impossible to figure out where in the car he was sitting. “Can’t tell if bro in the front, middle or back of the whip,” the user wrote.
Lost In Da Sauce came to Houston from Los Angeles in March 2025. Drake started appearing in the Houston area years ago, and he purchased a huge property in Brenham in 2023. Since, he’s shown up all over the place, from vibe-centric restaurants in the Galleria area to local dive bars.
