Going solar just got a little easier in Southern Nevada. Through the All-In Clark County climate and sustainability initiative, Clark County’s Department of Environment & Sustainability is partnering with Switch Together and nonprofit Solar United Neighbors to help residents access no-obligation, competitive pricing on rooftop solar, battery storage and electric vehicle (EV) charging.
“We are excited to partner with Switch Together to provide county residents with an opportunity to access competitive pricing to install solar on their homes,” said Robert Burgy, climate and sustainability program manager with Clark County DES. “Switch Together advances the goals of All-In Clark County by helping residents make informed choices and take practical steps toward a more sustainable and resilient Southern Nevada.”
How it Works
The Switch Together program helps homeowners and small businesses secure a quality rooftop solar installation at a discounted price through the power of group buying. The program also offers discounted prices for optional add-ons such as home battery storage and EV chargers.
By organizing groups of residents who are interested in going solar together, Switch Together can negotiate better pricing for each household participating in the program.
“If ever you’ve thought about going solar, now’s your chance,” said Julia Hubbard, Nevada state director for Solar United Neighbors. “Switch Together helps you learn if going solar is right for you. You’ll have expert guidance through every step of the process.”
