Nike has unveiled Victor Wembanyama’s new signature logo, marking a major step toward the San Antonio Spurs star’s first signature sneaker.
The brand debuted the logo in a cinematic, space-themed video inspired by the Big Bang, with the explosion revealing Wembanyama’s stylized “VW” emblem. The logo’s sleek, angular design resembles a mirrored Nike Swoosh.
The emblem will appear on the upcoming Nike Wemby 1, Wembanyama’s first signature shoe. Nike previously used an alien-themed logo on several of his player-exclusive sneakers before introducing the new design.
Wembanyama first signed with Nike in 2022 before entering the NBA. The brand extended the partnership ahead of the 2023 NBA Draft, and the two sides recently agreed to another multi-year extension.
Nike has not announced a release date for the Nike Wemby 1.
