Dillon Danis has dropped out of his fight against Mike Perry with just 48 hours to go until the event takes place.

On Thursday at a scheduled pre-fight press conference, Perry actually made the announcement that Danis pulled out of the fight and he’ll be replaced by UFC and MVP MMA veteran Brandon Jenkins. Perry vs. Jenkins now headlines the Dual Arena card on Saturday with the show expected to be broadcast on pay-per-view.

“This p*ssy ass bitch Dillon Danis didn’t show the f*ck up,” Perry said. “He’s not here. He backed the f*ck out because he’s a p*ssy.

“I want to give a shout out to my new opponent Brandon Jenkins. He’s getting on a plane right now. He’s flying here to weigh in the morning like a professional and fight me on Saturday night.”

Of course, this isn’t the first time Danis has signed up for a fight and then dropped out for various reasons. He famously booked a pair of boxing matches against KSI but neither event actually took place after Danis dropped out of the fight.

While Danis has been more active lately including a pair of wrestling matches against Colby Covington and Khamzat Chimaev in RAF, this was his first scheduled MMA fight since he defeated an overmatched Warren Spencer in Misfits back in August 2025.

As for Jenkins, he accepts the fight on short notice after most recently getting a win over Chris Avila on the MVP MMA card held in California back in May.

Perry vs. Jenkins now headlines the card, which also features the return of UFC veteran Jimi Manuwa as well as Phil Rowe with both fighters competing in separate boxing matches.

“Shit happens in the fight game,” Danis wrote. “Beyond disappointed.”
