Lucas Hernandez is expected to start over Lucas Digne when Paris Saint-Germain face Villarreal in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night.
Digne was brought in to be the back-up to Nuno Mendes, however, he has struggled for form since joining from Aston Villa. Lucas Hernandez, however, impressed in Mendes’ absence against Barcelona and so is expected to get the nod tonight against another Spanish opponent.

PSG are without four players: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Ousmane Dembélé, Marquinhos, and Mendes. The former has suffered an ACL injury and will miss much of the season – if not all of it – whilst the other three are more short-term absences. In Dembélé’s absence, it is Ferran Torres who is expected to lead the line tonight for the reigning European champions.
