TEXAS — The Outlaw Music Festival is gearing up for its 10th anniversary tour this summer, and included are two Texas shows.
The lineup this year is impressive. Texan Willie Nelson and legendary singer-songwriter Bob Dylan are at the top of the bill. Also appearing are guitar virtuoso Billy Strings, singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow, The Avett Brothers, alt-country band Wilco, Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers and numerous others.
Dylan has been enjoying a popular resurgence lately following the biopic chronicling his early days in New York, “A Complete Unknown.” The film, starring Timothée Chalamet, earned eight nominations for the upcoming 97th Academy Awards.
Nelson needs no introduction to Texans. 2024 saw the release of his 75th studio album, “The Border.” The outlaw country musician celebrated his 91st birthday last April.
The Outlaw Music Festival will be at Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas on July 5 and The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands on July 6.
Tickets for both shows are on sale Friday, Feb. 7.
