FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas baseball is still in a prime position to be a national seed in the 2025 NCAA Tournament despite a series loss to No. 1 LSU last weekend.

The No. 5 Razorbacks (41-11) have hosted a regional in six of the last seven seasons and look poised to have more postseason action in Fayetteville later this year. Arkansas is No. 5 in the RPI and hasn’t been ranked outside of the top five of USA TODAY’s Baseball Coaches Poll all season. The Hogs will face No. 14 Tennessee (39-13) this weekend to close out the regular season.

The NCAA Tournament begins May 30 with the College World Series scheduled to end June 23. Below is a look at where the Razorbacks stand in three postseason projections.

Aria Gerson with the USA TODAY Sports Network released her second edition of bracket projections on Monday, and Arkansas is the No. 3 overall seed. Gerson has the Hogs hosting Southern Miss, Iowa and Oral Roberts. That quadrant would be paired with the regional hosted by No. 14 Oregon State.

Baseball America has Arkansas as the No. 5 overall seed, hosting a regional with Southern Miss, Western Kentucky and Kent State. The Hogs would face Kent State in the opener, and that regional is paired with the regional hosted by 12-seed Alabama for the next round. Baseball America’s latest projections were released Wednesday morning.

D1Baseball’s latest projections came out Tuesday, and that website also has Arkansas as the No. 3 overall seed. D1Baseball projects the Hogs’ opponents to be Kansas, Western Kentucky and Wright State. The quadrant will be paired with the regional hosted by 14-seed Alabama for the super regionals.
