Join Redwood Symphony and Eric Kujawsky for a celebration of summer with a festive concert featuring strains of Mediterranean/Hispanic culture, dance music and rousing good times, with a healthy dose of virtuosity thrown in!
The evening begins with Jimmy Lopez’ rousing Fiesta, conducted by Kyle Baldwin.
Then our own Jason Lin steps out in front of the orchestra to solo in one of the most popular violin concertos of 19th century France, inspired by the exotic music of Spain; Lalo’s Symphonie Espagnole. And the final piece performed will be Respighi’s enchanting Ancient Airs and Dances No. 2.
