The Indianapolis Colts suffer their first loss, 27-20 to the Los Angeles Rams in NFL Week 4 action, and one player plays an unfortunate critical role.

Second-year receiver Adonai Mitchell fumbles the ball out of the end zone on what would have been a touchdown. He later commits holding, negating a long Jonathan Taylor touchdown run.

Daniel Jones completes 24-of-33 passes for 262 yards, 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions, both by Kam Curl. Taylor rushes for 76 yards. Taylor, Tyler Warren and Michael Pittman Jr. have 5 catches each, and Pittman scores the TD.

The Colts commit 11 penalties for 88 yards.

Matthew Stafford goes 29-of-41 for 375 yards and 3 touchdowns, including the winner in the closing minutes for his 50th career 4th-quarter winning drive. Puka Nacua has 13 catches for 170 yards and a TD. Kyren Williams has 77 rushing yards.

The Colts (3-1) host the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 5 action.
