The Phoenix Symphony has a series of shows coming up to celebrate the holiday season.
From “Home Alone in Concert” and the beloved “Holiday Pops” to the tradition of Handel’s “Messiah” and “Christmas Baroque,” to ringing in 2026 at the “New Year’s Eve: All-American Dance Party Celebration.”
“Home Alone in Concert”
Nov. 28-30
Films Series, Symphony Hall
A holiday favorite, the beloved comedy classic features renowned composer John Williams’ charming and delightful score performed live to picture. Macaulay Culkin stars as Kevin McCallister, an 8-year-old boy who’s accidentally left behind when his family leaves for Christmas vacation, and who must defend his home against two bungling thieves.
“Holiday Pops Spectacular”
Dec. 5-7
Phoenix Pops, Symphony Hall
The festive performance features carols and hymns from various traditions. Guest conductor Lawrence Loh returns to the Phoenix Symphony, joined by the Phoenix Symphony Chorus and guest artists.
Handel’s “Messiah”
Dec. 11-14
Special Series, various locations
Experience the world’s most famous oratorio when guest conductor Tyson Deaton leads the Phoenix Symphony and Chorus. Enjoy beloved arias like “I Know That My Redeemer Liveth” and iconic choruses, including the powerful “Hallelujah” chorus.
“Christmas Baroque”
Dec. 20-21
Special Series, Orpheum Theatre
Celebrate the season with an evening of Baroque and classical masterpieces led by Patrick Dupré Quigley, known for his engaging, historically-informed interpretations. Charpentier’s Overture to “Te Deum” opens the program, followed by Mozart’s “Symphony No. 1” and Adolphe Adams’ “Cantique de Noël.” Plus, Corelli’s “Christmas Concerto,” while Bach’s “Orchestral Suite No. 3” closes with grandeur.
New Year’s Eve: All American Dance Party with Champagne Toast

Celebrate the New Year with the Phoenix Symphony and Stuart Chafetz in an evening of music, joy, and festive cheer. Enjoy a performance and a complimentary champagne toast to celebrate the start of 2026.
