GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Hispanic Women’s Association, AHAM, kicked off its Hispanic Heritage Month celebration at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena.
Visitors from different countries came together to enjoy music, dance, folklore and food.
The event began with a musical celebration, followed by a parade representing Latin American countries.
This year marks AHAM’s 27th anniversary. The group of women has worked together for one year to make the event possible at the arena.
The celebration helps raise money for Latino scholarships while also sharing the culture and traditions of the Latino community.
