The North Carolina Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission has suspended the alcohol permits for Bar Latino on West Meadowview Road in Greensboro following an investigation by the North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement Division.
The suspension means the business can remain open but is no longer allowed to sell alcoholic beverages. According to state officials, the action follows an ALE investigation into the establishment at 316 W. Meadowview Road.
North Carolina law allows the ABC Commission to immediately suspend or revoke permits when evidence from an undercover operation indicates a permit holder or employees engaged in or allowed criminal activity that threatens public safety, including illegal drug activity.

“Bryan House, director of ALE, said the agency works with law enforcement partners to investigate alcohol-serving businesses that allow illegal drug activity or other criminal conduct.”
Officials said the investigation remains ongoing and additional charges are anticipated. More information is expected to be released as it becomes available.
